Brooklyn Park, MN (July 12, 2017) – R&D Engineering and Machining, a leading provider of catheter manufacturing equipment and tooling, is pleased to announce it has moved into a new facility located in Brooklyn Park, MN. R&D Engineering and Machining has acquired space located in the NorthPark business park located at 10351 Xylon Ave. N., Brooklyn Park, MN. The new facility provides 20,000 square feet to house business, engineering, and manufacturing operations. The new space expands its catheter equipment operations while also providing space for new technology and machinery to sustain the accelerated growth of the company.
As part of the move, R&D Engineering and Machining is excited to announce it is re-branding the company with an updated name, logo, and website. “With the growth of the company and our product lines, we have decided to consolidate the company name to R&D Engineering”, Stated Dave Erickson, President. “We think the new name and logo communicates the vision of the company as a leading manufacturer of medical device and catheter manufacturing equipment. We are excited to share our new look with customers and the medical device community”.
Dave Erikson and Rick Osterdyk partnered to start R&D Engineering and Machining more than 18 years ago in Stacy, MN. Both worked in the medical device industry and saw an unmet need for a supplier of custom built machines and tooling to support medical device manufacturing processes. With their skills and knowledge, they built the company into a leading provider of catheter manufacturing equipment, tooling, and custom automation. Today, R & D Engineering machines can be found at many of the world’s leading medical device companies and they continue to develop new technologies to improve productivity and quality.
